Rune
Runé graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy. After completing her community service in Trompsburg, she traded the open plains of the Free State for the coastal town of Hermanus, where she gained valuable experience in private practice. She has since returned to her roots in Durbanville.
Her clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions, as well as neurological rehabilitation. Runé is passionate about walking alongside her patients throughout their recovery journey and is committed to serving, and helping them regain optimal function.
Outside of the practice, Runé can often be found on the sports fields, playing netball or tennis. Runé achieved Western Province colours in Tennis & Athletics and Western Cape and SA Colours in Netball during her matric year. Having personally experienced the impact of dedicated physiotherapists during her own recovery, she is inspired to offer the same level of commitment to every patient she treats.
