Karen Frye & Associates (Trading as Durbanville Wellness Centre), is an integrated Physiotherapy and Biokinetics practice consisting of two registered practices.
Since inception in 2005, we have strived to provide excellent services to the greater Durbanville area where our founding member, Karen Frye, was born and raised. Our vision is to create a centre of excellence where people feel welcome and relaxed while their injuries and conditions are treated by capable people who care. Our mission is to establish what the cause of the injury is and by addressing the cause, through treatment and rehabilitation, we will reduce your pain and discomfort and restore your function.

Biokinetics
A Biokineticist improves physical status and quality of life through individualized assessment and exercise prescription in the dual context of clinical pathology (acute and chronic) and performance enhancement.

Pilates
Pilates is great to strengthen your core from top to bottom. We offer private sessions and small group classes (4 max). Groups range from beginner to advance. Classes for athletes are also available
BeFit (Sport Specific Conditioning)
BeFit is our Sport Specific Conditioning Program. Land training for swimmers and all other fitness programs are developed for a specific sport. Functional Assessments, Body Composition and sport specific assessments are also done by our Biokineticist in conjunction with the Musculo-skeletal assessments done by our Physiotherapists.
